Tier 3
What is tier 3 support?
Where tier 2 supports are focus on identifying groups of students with similar skill needs, tier 3 supports are individualized and intensive in the areas of academic, behavior, and social emotional needs. Tier 3 supports are reliant on a strong foundation for tier 1 and tier 2.
As tier 3, these students receive more intensive, individualized support to improve their academic, behavioral, social and emotional outcomes. Students usually make up 5%< when effective tier 1 and 2 supports are implemented.
Tier 3 supports at Eastside High School include Individualized Education Plans, 504 plans, Student Study Team Meetings, Behavior Support Plans, On Site Continuation, Educational Social Worker Referrals, Crisis Counseling, and School Attendance Review Board.
