MTSS at EHS

Eastside High School is dedicated to providing individualized support to every single student through the Multi-Tiered System of Supports initiative.

Multi-Tiered System of Supports, also referred to as MTSS, is a comprehensive approach designed to provide targeted support for students based on their individual needs. MTSS focuses on academics, behavior, and social-emotional well-being to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.

MTSS is built around three key components:
1. Academics - Providing high-quality instruction and interventions tailored to each student's academic needs.
2. Behavior - Promoting positive behavior and offering support for those who need it.
3. Social-emotional - Supporting students' social and emotional well-being to foster a safe and inclusive environment.

MTSS is crucial because it ensures that every single student receives the appropriate level of support they need to succeed academically, behaviorally, and emotionally. By addressing issues early on and providing targeted assistance, we help all students thrive in all aspects of their school life.
