Important Notice
You must live within Antelope Valley High School's boundaries to enroll into Antelope Valley High School, or receive an open enrollment letter to attend! Click on the school locator below to check to see if your address is within our boundaries!

Enrollment Information
Foster parents must provide "placement" documentation (1399). Legal guardians must show guardianship/court documentation.
A family living with another family who can not provide proof of residency or caregivers of students whose parent/guardian live outside the Antelope Valley will be referred to our Community Attendance Worker for approval before registration.
Any fraudulent information/documentation may result in the withdrawal of your student(s) from Antelope Valley High School.
Required Documents
Numbers 1, 2 and 3 are non-negotiable - students will not be enrolled without all three of them!
Essential Documents
- Two current (within the last 60 days) utility bills proving residency within Antelope Valley's boundaries such as an electric, gas or water bill, Escrow paperwork (closed), Lease agreement or Rental agreement, OR your AVUHSD Open Enrollment approval letter! Cell phone bills will not be accepted.
- Up-to-date immunizations (click here to see CA requirements)
- Student's birth certificate to verify birth date.
Additional Documents
- Current report card for incoming 9th graders. Withdrawal form AND an unofficial transcript for incoming 10th, 11th and 12th graders.
- Parent/Guardian's State-Issued Identification or Driver's license.
- Court documents of custody or guardianship, if applicable.
- IEP or 504 Plan, if student has one.
