Our mission is to develop literacy in all our students. Our core focus is to develop the traditional ideas of literacy: the ability to read, write, and think. We also strive to foster the development of 21st century literacy as we develop our students visual literacy as well as our students technological literacy to retrieve information, research, and communicate. Our intention is to produce literate individuals who can gather, analyze, and communicate information effectively. At the end of our program, students will creative think in order to draw independent conclusions--skills that are the cornerstone of healthy independent learners and key to a future in an increasingly information-based economy.
