Dear Students, Families, and Community,
Our vision, "Dream, Aspire, Achieve," is the heart of everything we do. We are deeply committed to inclusivity and innovation, ensuring every student receives the support they need to reach their full potential and is prepared to be a lifelong learner.
As a lifelong resident of the Antelope Valley, it is a profound honor to serve as your Principal. I have spent 28 of my 29 years in education right here in the Antelope Valley Union High School District—13 years in the classroom as a teacher and 16 years as an administrator. Now in my 10th year at Eastside High School and my 4th year as Principal, I am more inspired than ever by the "Lion Pride" that defines our campus.
Driving Growth and Success
Inclusive: We celebrate our diversity through groups like our Black Student Union, K-Pop club, and Folklorico dance. We ensure our students with disabilities enjoy the full school experience through events like SPED Prom and Prime Time Sports.
Safe: We provide a positive environment where students can explore their passions in state-of-the-art facilities like our EPAC theater and Studio 151.
Innovative Learning: Our students access top-tier CTE pathways in medicine, film, music, social work, and art.
Social Emotional Well being: We support our students’ mental health through dedicated foster liaisons, bilingual counselors, and programs like Resilient Scholars.
Community Partnership: We partner with local organizations to provide internships, job experience, and publishing opportunities for our students.
While we recognize we have many opportunities for growth, the progress we see daily is a testament to our dedicated educators and motivated students. I am proud to lead a school filled with such talent and resilience. Together, we are truly building a brighter future for the Antelope Valley.
